We've begun an extensive project to transform all of our user resources into a cohesive education platform.

The role is part of the Global User Resources team, whose focus is informing and enabling our users as efficiently and effectively as possible. This is done through platforms such as our Support Centre, e-learning and instructor-led modules. This role is primarily focused on facilitating engaging and hands-on virtual software classes that cover the system, best practices and arts & culture sector expertise. The goal is knowledge retention through highly interactive learning with discussion, hands-on activities and practice scenarios. The role will also include time spent building and maintaining the courses and delivering them in person to both clients and internally.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure high quality, engaging, and hands-on virtual software classes delivered consistently both remotely and in-person..
  • Ensure user knowledge transfer and retention leading to smoother implementations and new user onboarding.
  • Ensure instructor-led materials are accurate and perpetually improving by incorporating client and internal feedback to maintain, optimise, and expand the curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Spektrix instructor-led modules on a set schedule and ad hoc as needed.
  • Manage time and projects around scheduled classes.
  • Explore and experiment with new tools, tactics, and learning trends to optimise learner experiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the business to ensure that information is comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date.
  • Advocate for the use of our self-serve and instructor-led education offerings.
  • Observe and give specific feedback to other instructors with candour and empathy.
  • Occasional travel to London/Manchester (our two UK offices) and/or New York (US office) as required.

  • Solutions-oriented mindset and expert troubleshooting skills
  • Experience educating on technology solutions, both online and in-person
  • Distil complex ideas verbally, visually, and in writing
  • Strong PowerPoint or Google Slides skills

Working from home

We aim to be as flexible as possible when it comes to working setups and lots of our team work from home on a regular basis. This means we generally work with a "remote first" approach even when we are in the office.

We'll provide reasonable support and all the hardware you need to get started, but we do require that you have the following already in place for a good home working set up:

  • A quiet working space at home where you can consistently take video calls without interruptions
  • An internet connection that supports your participation in video calls and access to our systems and service.

Traveling into the New York office (commuting) is at your own expense, any travel for business (other than commuting) will be covered by Spektrix.
